Are Jehovas Witnesses allowed by their religion to buy health insurance.?

Religions that ban the purchase of insurance are exempt from the mandatory health insurance law.

. I've been a Witness for 40 years, and I have never heard any objection to having insurance. In fact, we are admonished to follow the laws of the country, state, and region in which we live. If the law requires the purchase of insurance, I don't know of any reason not to do so.. . .
