Does anyone know of a good health insurance?
I broke my wrist 2 years ago and ive been meaning to have it fixed. It healed cruked and the pain bothers me from time to time. Does anyone know of a good health insurance that would imedietaly cover this injury. I have no insurance and want one but dont know which one will help me the most.

But, rather than make this a sales pitch, I guess what I'd want you to know is that it is very unlikely that any health insurance provider would cover any sort of "preexisting condition", and if you were to misrepresent it, in most states, that is a crime (they call it fraud). Do you have any sort of accident policy that might pay something towards the surgery it would take to treat the injury? Some of these may not pay either, but you'd come closer to getting an accident policy to pay than you would ANY health policy after this long. Good luck, but the lesson here is, once this injury is treated, it's better to have the insurance in place BEFORE it is needed.

The IRS only wants you to pay your taxes. You got some things confused: The new law will allow your parents to cover you under their insurance until you are 26 years old if you don't have health insurance. Whether or not you will be forced to have it is still up to debate.

Does any company offer health insurance to spouses when newly employed?

Everyone gets off their parents' health insurance when they are 18 or 19 years old unless they are a full time student (then you stay on your parents til 25 years old). The final health care bill hasn't been passed yet. What happened last night is that the Senate passed their bill. We now have two bills that need to be merged into one bill, one from the House and one from the Senate. This is the closest we've ever come to overhauling our health care system and providing health care insurance coverage to most of Americans. Kudos to President Obama.

Shame on the people who are not on governmental medical programs. How could they ever think they could get away with having a private insurance without being punished for being the self-responsible people that they are? It was a horrible idea when McCain brought up the idea but now times are different. This administration will say that they are "reaching across the aisle" by doing this. It will be the Republicans' fault. Actually, the idea fits in very will to get all of the American public to "see the light" and embrace total government health insurance. Why would anyone want to pay for the national health care system through taxes, pay their portion of private insurance costs, and then be taxed extra for having that private insurance? Using Kiran's example, that would be about $1,500 a year. What's the harm in paying the government an extra $1,500 a year in taxes? It's a lot of harm to me, but maybe I'm different than most people.

the cost of health insurance for Americans? The Baucus bill requires all future health insurance policies to include: Cover all preexisting conditions. No life time cap on claims. All doctors office visits. Dental coverage on all policies. All prescriptions included. All mental health issues. I know I signed up for the max life insurance, how does health insurance work? Are you automatically covered while on active duty for training (I'm National Guard) or do I need to sign up for Tri-Care?

It's my understanding that you'll ONLY be covered by Tricare while you're on active duty orders for the Federal Gov't...not State Call-Ups. But, talk to your National Guard recruiter or someone with your unit to be sure. I don't know, nor do I think, you can carry Tricare when you're not on orders. As far at the life insurance goes...that's a totally different ball game. You're paying for a service and it's guranteed. But, with health insurance you're not paying for anything.
