Does any1 know of any company that will give me health insurance even though i have a pre existing condition?

UK ONLY I am currently on the nhs waiting list to see a specialist dermatologist, however the wait is 12 weeks, need to go private so i can be seen sooner, i need an insurance company that will accept me for health insurance that will allow me to have my current problem treated, dont have the money outright to go private which is why i need the health insurance. Please help as i am desperate.
--------------------
They wont. They arent going to give you insurance that needs to start paying out immediately, thats why they have the pre existing condition clause - to make sure they shell out as little as possible.

Personal family health insurance with deductible $5000 or less?

Trying to find a Health Insurance plan with a deductible of $5000 or less. Found a Blue Cross one for about $7500 but that's to much since I only make $15000 a year.
--------------------
There are many plans available with deductibles of $5000 or less. Visit a local independent agent to find the best plan for your situation since plans and companies vary by location. Many individual plans will have doctor visits and prescriptions without having to meet the deductible first. Also, you may be interested in an HSA qualified plan where you can save some money in a savings account to help pay the deductible. Even if you have a higher deductible the hospitals will work with you to make the deductible payments.

is my health insurance in UK valid after i left UK ? Question?

I have european health insurance card issued in uk when i was living and working there, i am traveling around the world as i have enough money not to work now for a couple of years. 1) is this card still valid and will remain valid as long as the expiry date on it? 2) if i have an accident and go to a hospital somewhere in EU (not UK) do i need to worry that i will need to cover medical expenses as i am not living nor working in UK at the moment?
--------------------
According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_He… The European Health Insurance Card (or EHIC) allows citizens of the EEA countries and Switzerland to receive medical treatment in another member state for free or at a reduced cost, if that treatment becomes necessary during their visit (for example, due to illness or an accident), or if they have a pre-existing chronic condition which requires care such as kidney dialysis. The participating countries are :- * Austria * Belgium * Bulgaria * Cyprus (but not Northern Cyprus) * Czech Republic * Denmark * Estonia * Finland * France * Germany * Greece * Hungary * Iceland * Ireland * Italy * Latvia * Liechtenstein * Lithuania * Luxembourg * Malta * Netherlands * Norway * Poland * Portugal * Romania * Slovakia * Slovenia * Spain * Sweden * Switzerland - However, Switzerland excludes certain nationalities. * United Kingdom (Including Gibraltar)

What's next after Universal Health Care Insurance for those without health insurance ?

What's next after Universal Health Care Insurance for those without health insurance ? Will Obama propose a government plan for Universal Auto Insurance for those without auto insurance ? Will Obama develop a government plan for Universal Homeowners Insurance for those without homeowners insurance or those who are underinsured ? Will Obama develop a government plan to buy homes for those without homes ? Will Obama develop a government plan to buy cars for those without cars ?

Dude, let's take one catastrophe at a time. Let's make sure the idiots and pinheads in Washington know that if they vote for this scam, they are toast in the next election. Hopefully when this disaster goes down in flames, the global warming tax and amnesty will do the same. Obama now has a 47% approval rating! This is great news!

Where can I shop for health insurance?

I need to purchase health insurance for my family. Where do I go or who should I call?
--------------------
You need a trusted adviser to help you through the process of purchasing health insurance so that you understand what you are purchasing. Some may suggest going on line to get a quote but you probably already know that there is much more to health insurance than price. Some might even suggest a discount plan which is not insurance at all. Ultimately, you are the one who determines the affordability of your health insurance plan by deciding how much you will participate in sharing the cost of your health care with your insurance company. If you choose a plan that covers everything i.e. doctors office visits, prescription drugs, preventative health benefits, maternity coverage as well as low deductibles, low copays and optional vision and dental benefits your monthly premiums will be significant. On the other hand if your family is young, healthy and use the health care system infrequently you could consider a plan that covers only the major health catastrophe which will result in a relatively low monthly premium. You then can use the monthly premium savings to pay for the occasional doctor visit and still come out ahead. Check with the agent that writes your home or auto insurance he/she can provide you a health insurance proposal that takes into account your budget and health status. They can answer questions as to what is and is not covered by the policy, explain deductibles and copays and show you the hospitals and doctors that participate in the network. Use the Internet to educate yourself but use an agent to purchase the coverage.

Bachelors, how much does your Health insurance cost you?

I dont care if you have it with your employer thats not what Im asking. How much does it cost you independently per month? Im a healthy 25 year old male and I think Im going to eventually have to get health insurance myself.

If you are a non-smoker and in good health, you should be able to get insurance that includes a doctor co-pay benefit and a drug card for under $100 a month.

Does anyone know how Aetna Health Insurance measures up to other plans. Is there a site that does comparisons?

My husband was offered Aetna Health Insurance but we're thinking about getting coverage through my company. We have Multiplan PPO there.
--------------------
Aetna is a good company, but along with all the other major health insurance companies they are like automobile manufacturers. They both offer a variety of product, from the basic low end model all the way up to the model that's fully loaded with all the options. You'll just need to weigh the benefits with the premium on both plans. No one here will know what benefits are offered.

Do you have to have health insurance to have Rhinoplasty?

Just wondering if you have to have health insurance for a nose job.
--------------------
No, as a matter of fact most health insurance plans will not perform the surgery unless paid for out of pocket. It is considered an elective (not necessary...cosmetic) surgery. So, no you don't have to have insurance, but you have to have money to pay for the full cost of the surgery unless you can prove that it is a medical problem secondary to recurrent sinus infections, breathing problems and in this case yes you would need insurance for it to be taken care of...no insurance, again then full payment out of pocket.

--------------------
The English statesman William Pitt the Younger (1759-1806) introduced important financial and administrative reforms, girded England for war against Revolutionary and Napoleonic France, and attempted to solve the perennial Irish problem. The second son of William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, the younger William Pitt was born on May 28, 1759, at the family estate of Hayes, near Bromley, Kent. It was a year of triumph for his father, and for England, which was victorious on land and on sea against the French. Thus his birth appeared auspicious - and Pitt fully lived up to the expectations that he excited in family and acquaintances. His accomplishments at least equaled those of his illustrious father. Pitt's Personality Although in early childhood Pitt suffered from frail health, almost from the beginning he showed great intellectual promise and an interest in politics. Pitt later outgrew his physical frailty, but he always retained the sense of personal destiny that his abilities and interests early inspired and that his family encouraged. As a youth, Pitt was painfully shy; in adulthood he did not lose this quality, but he hid it behind a facade of cold aloofness. Those who did not know him well assumed that his coldness revealed his true nature, and his reputation has survived as a man utterly lacking in human sympathy and feeling. That picture is a false one, however, for in his personal relationships with friends and family he showed himself warm, amiable, and witty. His Political Stance Politically, Pitt was a pragmatist. He believed in reform for the sake of honest, humane, and efficient administration rather than for the sake of any abstract theory. For him politics was the art of the possible, and he believed that it was better to do the best one could in any given situation than surrender office (and thus lose the chance of serving one's country) because of an insistence on the impossible. Although he was scrupulously honest regarding his own conduct and financial dealings (he rejected an offer of £100, 000 because he feared it might prejudice his political independence), and although he was contemptuous of those who sold their votes and influence for money or advancement, on more than one occasion he resorted to the then current methods of jobbery and bribery in order to win support on important issues. Pitt's political convictions were rooted in the 18th-century English constitution: he always upheld the right of the monarch to choose his ministers and to participate in government, and at the same time he always maintained the privileges of Parliament in the legislative process and in the governing of the country. Pitt foresaw the eventual supremacy of the House of Commons over both Lords and King, but he did not do anything to bring about that situation. Pitt sometimes displayed a deep, almost uncanny, insight, but in only one respect might he be deemed a visionary: he had an abiding faith in the greatness that Britain could achieve. Early Career In 1781 Pitt became a Member of Parliament from a pocket borough. His eloquence in debate soon distinguished him, and he was favorably compared with his late father. Ambitious, self-confident, and eager both to show his abilities and to serve his country, he did not leap at his first opportunities, which were minor offices. He chose instead to preserve his political independence and to wait for more responsible positions. His chance came in July 1782, when he accepted the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer in Lord Shelburne's ministry. During his chancellorship Britain signed preliminary peace treaties with the United States, France, Spain, and Holland. Parliamentary opposition to these treaties caused Shelburne to resign his office in February 1783. A month later Pitt also resigned. Pitt became head of the ministry on Dec. 19, 1783, when he took office as First Lord of the Treasury and Chancellor of the Exchequer. He was then only 24 years old, and he lacked a majority in the House of Commons, which greeted the announcement of his appointment with laughter. His first task was to win the confidence of the Commons. He already possessed the support of the King and the House of Lords. Pitt's eloquence and steadiness of purpose favorably impressed the Commons, and these qualities together with the skillful politicking of John Robinson gained Pitt an overwhelming victory at the polls in 1784. With the support of a majority in Commons, Pitt then embarked on the important business of leading Britain into a period of hitherto unparalleled prosperity and strength. In this endeavor he was not, as Lord North had been, the compliant tool of the King. For his part, George III refrained from interference, seemingly happy to have found at last a strong minister whom he could trust. Pitt made his greatest achievements between 1784, when he won a parliamentary majority, and 1789, when the outbreak of the French Revolution brought new problems th

Go to the Social Security Office and apply for a number for your wife. They are not in any way attached to Immigration, and by law can not inform law enforcement of the number, address, or any information they have on a person, unless that person is committing fraud against social security dept itself, such as receiving SSI under false pretenses. health insurance?

I live in the State of Maryland , im 19 & recently moved out of my mom's house, because of this, i have no financial ties with her including health insurance. I plan on getting a job next month. Does anyone know how easy or difficult or if its even possible for me to get my own health insurance? The reason why health insurance is so important to me is because i have a pre-existing condition and im on chemotherapy like medication. Will i have to go through the state? I plan on starting school in Spring, will the school health plan be an option? I also plan on looking for a job next month, does anyone know any jobs that could give full coverage & under what circumstances? Also when i begin school & decide to work only part time, will this affect it? Thanks in advance:)
--------------------
First, how long ago did you lose coverage under your moms plan? You should have received COBRA paperwork from her plan which you can continue for up to 18 months (expensive but cheaper than trying to get it on your own. Almost any full time position will offer insurance. Although most exclude the pre-existing conditions if you sign up when initially eligible be careful and do not allow yourself to have more than a 63 day break in coverage (at that point they could exclude you due to your pre-existing condition). The school will probably offer insurance as well. Best of luck!

Health Insurance?

I'm shopping for health insurance and am a bit confused by all the terms,Can someone tell me the difference between HMO's,PPO's,Network's,And Indemnity's and which is better?
--------------------
What slim said is accurate, I would just like to add/clarify. HMO - Uses a small network within your local area. Some require referrals and may services require authorizations. PPO - Use a large nation wide network. IE. If you have Pennsylvania Blue Shield PPO and you go to California, and the hospital participates with California Blue Shield PPO you are still in network (but with an HMO you would be out of network and with an HMO out of network is just not covered but with a PPO out of network is covered, it just process at a lower amount of payment than in network. Indemnity does not use a network but it is is very expensive and usually does not cover routine or preventive/screening services. Indemnity usually involves a lot of work for the member, you file most claims your self and with other plans, the provider will do it for you. Most have a deductible and alot do not cover regular office visits. This is old fashioned coverage and only covers services that are truly "Medically Necessary" (hence not covring routine). Usually, only inpatient services require authorization, and it is your responsiblity to take care of that. No referrals. I prefer PPO because it is portable across the country, and you do not have to worry about leaving your area. They usually cover routine/screening/preventive and many are deductilbe free if you stay in network. It covers office visits. Usually only inpatient services require authorization, but it is the participating providers responsibilty. No referalls. You do not have to file the claims your self, unless you go out of network.

how can i fight the state of MA for telling me i will be punished and fined for not having health insurance?

I do not need or want health insurance, i hate doctors, and do not believe in the entire health care system. i absolutely refuse to pay for health care. what MA is doing is extortion and communist. they are fining people hundreds of dollars for not having health insurance. i want to fight this somehow by going to court and getting lawyers and i am serious. how can i go about doing this?

Is there all-inclusive health insurance for college graduate students?

I'm about to turn 23, and that means I can no longer be covered under my family's insurance plan...since I have to find my own policy now, is there anywhere I can get information on health insurance policies for grad students (in FL), possibly at a discounted rate? I would also like to find a policy that includes vision and dental, if possible. Any ideas where to start looking? Thanks!

If you are healthy then there are plenty of good places to get a cheap FL health insurance plan. Some of the top companies to consider include: 1. Golden Rule (United Healthcare) 2. Aetna 3. Blue Cross Blue Shield 4. Humana 5. Assurant Watch out for plans with very limited benefits like discount programs or from companies with a lot of complaints like Mega Life or United American. A good independent agent will be able to help you compare plans and find the best deal for your individual needs. Here is some more information on Florida health insurance:
