He should have talked to a Social Worker at the hospital, mine did everything in her power to help me. We don't have a county hospital out here, but I didn't have any insurance and no money to pay, since I lost my job due to my cancer. She helped me get medicaid, and sent me to the places that could help me not lost my apartment as well. I think your brother should contact the social worker and see if there is any help available. I wish him the best. Hope it all works out for him. Just getting through cancer is hard enough without having problems like that arise.

With burning on urination and frequent urination, you need to get to a doctor's office, or health clinic to get a rapid Urine Dipstick paper strip test done on a couple of drops of urine to detect bacteria and pus cells in the urine. If it is positive, then you need to start treatment with an appropriate antibiotic. With no health insurance, you should phone your local county health clinic, or urgent care center or county medical society office or hospital outpatient clinic and ask about free care. How do I get my dads health insurance to drop me so I can be accepted for another?

I have no health insurance. I never go to the doctor but occasionally have sleep problems (and once in awhile, take Ambien CR). Is it true that employer provided health insurance will be taxed as income?
I'm told section 9102 of the HC Law requires cost of employer provided insurance be reflected on employee's W2 form beginning in 2011. Logic suggests that is taxable income. What say you!

Can health insurance (no dental) cover braces in some cases?
For example, central and lateral incisors are crowded. Both have moved a significant amount, causing a change in the bite (can basically not use the front teeth to bite). In something so extreme, can health insurance cover the braces needed to repair?

No Congressman who has gone on record supporting any form of the public option has agreed to sign onto this bill.
