What to do if u"can't pay the mortgage" & no health insurance?
What is used to mean is you choose between a risk of medical bills OR keeping your house. NOW this would be a choice between going to prison for not paying a fine????? Or keeping your house? How is this not a worse situation?

I don't have health insurance/ would like to know if there are any cheap ways to visit doctors if i pay cash?
Paying a 140 bucks a visit plus paying any other tests during the visit just cost me too much until my job starts paying part of my health insurance. any suggestions are appreciated

Yeah, the medical community is organized crime. Sometimes if you tell them you don't have insurance, you can get a reduced rate. Don't go to a walk in clinic, they tend to be pretty pricey. Try a "medical group" or HMO. You might not get the best care in the world, but it may be cheaper.

no TRICARE is the health insurance. Traumatic injury is long term disability insurance.. such as if you are permanently incapacitated and can no longer care for yourself.. that insurance would help cover things like Rehab, assisted living facilities and equipment.

I am 24 going on 25 and I have two small children and a wife. We want to move to the UK and live and work. We believe that our children and us as well would have a better life there. I know it is tough but the economy here is not the best and I am tired of fighting to have a life and I want to see where my family came from. Which is England, Scotland, and Ireland. Horrible place to grow children, horrible TV, cigarette-alcohol-greasy food culture. 35 years paying for a mortgage. VIOLENCE. Is that what you want for your life and your family's? I work in the medical field and even my employer requires us to pay the full premium which is a few hundred dollars every 2 weeks and i pay even more to add the family.

Gov't needs to mandate everyone to buy their own health insurance?
Everyone including the poor. I think everyone who buy health insurance, each should get a card... when they go buy stuff, everything will be cheaper. And those who don't have health insurance will have to buy things twice as much. Like for example... sodas, they will have to pay $3 for a can of coca cola. $10 for a pack of ciggarettes.

Well, I have dealt with medicaid before. It is not easy. It is run VERY inefficiently, has a VERY limited network and super huge waiting lists for almost every service that is not general practice. It sounds like a good idea, though I think they need to get rid of the HMO's that are involved with it. They should also speed up the process to pay the doctors for their services. It needs some serious work done to it, but I think it could work.
