This is supposedly not a health discount card. I called the number only to be told that someone has to call me back with information. Do you have more details about this coverage?

I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety disorder in January of this year, then in the middle of April I lost my health insurance due to age and my parent's policy. I applied for new health insurance and told them about the condition, will they deny coverage for this problem?

There's no savings! Even top dems are saying that our costs for health care won't go down. It will increase the deficit and ration care since there will be tens of missions of new participants. I pay over $850/month for a sucky HMO (2 of us). I anticipate that my premiums will continue to rise each year. It increases by about $75 each year.

I have seen patients leave a mental hospital within five to seven days. How do doctors keep them in for longer—let's say 6 months? Does health insurance have anything to do with their prolonged stay?

Are there any health insurance companies that exist that accept aplicants who already have medi-cal?
and who simply want to have better insurance so that doctors will see them, because the doctors are telling them that medi-cal is not good enough insurance ? Any companies? Blue shield said they do not allow applicants who have medi-cal. Which I don't understand why this is even an issue?

Why do Americans think, it's the Governments responsibility to give them Health Insurance?
Isn't it our responsibility to buy our own insurance. It has been for years, what is it different now?

And all those millions out there who are "able" but not willing to work and want to live on welfare and food stamps are furnished better insurance and medical care than those who do work for it. And before you come unglued on that, I am not talking about those who legitimately need it. If the premiums go up, we just learn to tighten our belts and deal with it. We don't go crying to the government to take care of us. We weren't raised that way! I am sure a lot of you will have plenty to say about this. Where can I get health insurance for a parent who is undergoing dialysis in India and wants to Visit the USA for a short term. Of course they will need to continue there treatments here while visiting. But we need some kind of assistance while they are here.

It's unlikely that you will get affordable insurance for a short term situation. I would call a local dialysis unit, and ask to talk to their social worker. Every unit has one. He/she will have much more information than you'll find on here. You will also be able to find out how much it would cost to pay for it without insurance (probably a lot!).

Why isn't dental insurance normally covered by all health insurances?
Just curious why it isn't usually considered an important health concern, even though when I have a tooth ache it feels like the end of the world. And I wasn't sure what category to put this in as it is also somewhat political.

because dental work is extremely expensive and if you do get dental insurance it still is allot of money so its better to pay for dental work out of pocket. so basically insurance companies will actually have to do their job and provide health care and if they did that for dental care god forbid they would loose a profit from the bloated profits they already make.

How can I get health insurance if I don't have a job?
I'm not filing for unemployment, but I have recently graduated college, am off my parents insurance, and am struggling to find a job with these benefits. I have a few very minor medical issues, but I really need insurance. I've heard you can buy it independently through some companies, but I have no idea how to go about it. Small businesses usually try it once and then realize they are loosing a lot of money out of pocket to provide that especially if they employ females under the age of 40. The years they can have a baby. It tends to be very expensive you can look for your own insurance either major medical or just supplemental, something like Aflac. insurance .com is a good place to shop for the rates that you want. Good luck, maybe you can talk him into bringing it, but it will be difficult. If he is concerned about employee retention and moral maybe he will.
