Is that possible to cancel the health insurance before the due?

I have to pay the due fee for my health insurance, is it possible to close the deal??
--------------------
Never cancel that if you are unable to pay the health insurance...Just leave the due and you have options for the payment of the due later...You can pay it later so that you can get help from the insurance company...Later you can pay the amount because insurance is the best way to safeguard us so if you are unable to pay the due means pay it later or else you can cancel the health insurance...

I wonder where all the dead Americans Citizens are who died waiting for health insurance?

I wonder where all the dead Americans Citizens are who died waiting for health insurance companies to approve their medical care?
--------------------
Wonder where they're going to put all the people that die from waiting for health care if the health care bill passes. "I'm having a heart attack!, what do you mean I have to make an appointment for next month?"

I met a wealthy feminist who blamed the poor for having jobs that lack health insurance. Is she a feminist?

She claimed that anyone can get health insurance, and blamed the poor for not being covered. She acted like going to a hospital without insurance was a deliberate act of sabotage. She said that anyone can go out and get coverage via Medicaid or whatever. She calls herself a liberal and a Democrat and a feminist. When I explained that Medicaid doesn't cover the poor in most states, she blamed the poor for not getting jobs that provide health insurance. She has herself worked at high-wage jobs and has a wealthy husband. How could somebody who has no sense of equality or reality be called a feminist? When did feminism become all about "me me me" and "screw the little guy"?
--------------------
Sounds more like a Conservative to me. Feminism is about equality under all circumstances. Changing the axis of power so all have access to resources.

If I get married will I lose my health insurance?

I'm a 21 year old, full-time student, employed by radioshack and I'm under my parent's health insurance. I was wondering, if I get married, will I be dropped from my parent's health insurance? I kind of didn't want them to know I was getting married and I rely on their health insurance to cover my regular check ups and such. What's a good way to deal with this?
--------------------
A good way to deal with this, is to put off the wedding. If you feel the need to "hide" the marriage from someone, you're not ready to marry. If you and potential spouse are not capable of supporting yourselves, you aren't ready to get married.

What Health Insurance Company Will Take Me?

I am a 26 year old female in need of health insurance. Most companies won't insure you if you have a pre-existing condition. I have type 2 diabetes. My doctor has me going to a dietian, and I only take metformin once a day, other than that I am healthy. (no insulin, and I exercise.) I usually go to the doctor twice a year. Can anyone suggest an insurance company that will probably accept me and my condition.
--------------------
Nobody here will be able to help you because not all companies write policies in every state. Also, any one company will have different underwriting requirements in different states. In addition, each company will have several policies from which to choose and they may decline with one policy while they may accept with another policy. Companies that will accept diabetes will also look at other factors, such as hypertension, high cholesterol, cardiac conditions, height and weight, and the length of time the diabetes has been under control. Many of the companies that will accept someone with diabetes will also charge you a higher premium or may not cover the diabetes for a period of time. You need to visit a local agent that works with all of the major companies in your area. The agent will know which companies will accept you and on what terms. There is no extra charge using an agent.

Can I be on my boyfriends health insurance and am I his dependent?

My boyfriend and I have a son together. We are not going to get married, he has too much debt to get married. I stay home and take care of our son. He just started a new job and has benifits!!! FINALLY!!! Can I get onto his health insurance since I am the mother of his son? and on taxes am I his dependent? We live in Oregon.
--------------------
The only way you can do it is if his employer offers Domestic Partner coverage. (And even then...only if you meet the criteria to be covered as a Domestic Partner. You'd have to be prepared to show evidence - things like proof of joint ownership, such as a bank account or loan in both of your names, proof that you reside together, possibly signing a notarized statement about the nature of your relationship, etc. Whatever his particular employer would require.) However, if his employer does not offer Domestic Partner coverage (most don't), then there's nothing you can do. Except get married, of course. (Technically you *can* get married - you guys just don't *want* to because of his financial situation. Its splitting hairs, of course, but not quite accurate to say that he "can't" get married.)

I'm 43 and trying to start a new career in selling health insurance whats the best way to build my business?

I'm 43 and trying to transition into a new career selling health insurance. I need some sound advice from someone who has been there, what's the best way to build my business on limited funds. Thanks for taking the time to help. Dave
--------------------
Word of mouth is always the best business. Always ask for referrals from anyone you do business with and ask for referral from someone who says no. "I was unable to help you, do you know of someone who might need my services"? Best of luck to you.

Does the government restrict health insurance companies from selling insurance across state borders?

Or is it the policy of the health insurance companies themselves?
--------------------
Federal regulations and state law forbid selling health insurance across state lines. An agent and a company must be licensed with each state they do business in and each policy must comply with and be approved by the state insurance commissioner.

Are the Republicans trying to avoid talking about the 39% rate increase in Health Insurance that is a prelude?

Are the Republicans trying to avoid talking about the 39% rate increase in Health Insurance that is a prelude to 25% or higher Health Insurance increases across the country?
--------------------
I suspect so. Perhaps you could solicit Fox News viewers as to the extent to which the premium hike received coverage. A Fox affiliate in Sacramento gave this sparse coverage: http://www.fox40.com/news/headlines/ktxl… Wait, here is a story from Fox News which defends the rate increase (you expected them to be critical of the hike?): http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/… Notice how conservatives tend to view "tort reform" as the cure all - how naive is that?

If I take online classes would I still have my parents health insurance?

Health Insurance companies require you to be a dependent to be under your parents health insurance. Meaning your parents still support you monetarily. Students in College are covered as well, is that not correct? So if I was traveling abroad and was taking online classes would I still be covered under my parents health insurance?
--------------------
Well, just from my own experience: The insurance company did cover me under my parents until I was 18 with no school required OR till I was 21 with school (I think, but because now I'm 38 don't quite remember). So, as long as I was a "full time student" i I was covered. i went to "independant studies" and that counted as full time. Now, I don't reccomend this, but there was a short time that I Enrolled in more classes (at my local JC) than I was going to be able to do. Then I proved to insurance I was full time and then I dropped some of them. I am not usually unethical, and I hate to say this, but screw those rip off artists and I needed to work and go to part time school, so I did what I had to. I think there may have been a clause about living at home too, I forgot. The best way would be to ask, maybe in a generic "a friend of mine wants to know" kind of way.

How can I get Free or Inexpensive health insurance?

Im 15, and for the past month, I've had an internal hemorrhoid. When I first read about the symptoms I've been having and found out that it was a hemorrhoids, I immediatly started trying to make it better. I've been eating lots of fiber/drinking tons of water, exercising more, improving my posture, everything. But, no matter what I do, it still hurts when I defecate, and there is sometimes even blood. The first time it happend, I told my mom. She doesn't care. She just told me to use alcohol after I go. I've read more about them and how they can lead to colorectal cancer, if gone too long without being treated. Once again, I told my mom. I told her that I needed to see a doctor, all she does is tell me that its ok, it'll go away, It's too expensive to go to the doctor. She told me she tried to get health insurance, but I was denied... For the past month, I've been thinking... "Is money worth more than my health...?" Is there anything I can do?
--------------------
We "spoke" on you last questions about your heart beats....If you are 15 yrs old you are considered a minor. Most states have programs minors can receive health care for free or very low cost. You need to ask the school nurse (or a teacher your trust) to help you with your health situation. If your parent is not willing to get you appropriate health treatment or a minimum of a physical to assess what is "truly the problem" vs "self diagnosis" then you need to seek help from another trusted adult. *L*

Can I cover my boyfriend on my health insurance?

I live in MI and really want to add my boyfriend to my health insurance plan. We've been together almost 4 years and lived together 2 1/2. Are there any loopholes or any way we can work it out so he is covered. His job offers insurance but it is WAY too expensive, and I am willing to pay the extra to have him added. He really needs to start seeing a doctor regularly. Can I do it?
--------------------
You are probably not going to be able to do this since you aren't legally bound to him. Call your insurance and ask, they're the only ones that have the answer.

Why do people worry so much about the fine for failing to comply to buy health insurance?

Don't worry. If you fail to get health insurance we'll fine you a bunch of money with extra taxes and you'll be poor enough to receive welfare and various other present and future government benefits. Prison has a health care system too. So if you choose to avoid taxes, since that's how we'll fine you, you're all covered. Muhahahahaha......
--------------------
Most people aren't in the least worried. It's only a few scaremongering conservatives who dwell on the issue.

What percent of Americans have health insurance?

I do not need political opinions or anything, just a reference or website that shows or estimates what percent of legal Americans have health insurance.
--------------------
I provided you two files from the US Census Bureau. Hopefully, they are not too subjective. The spreadsheet lists the percentage of uninsured Americans as about 15%. This spreadsheet says nothing about the amount of people who are underinsured or about the type of coverage received. Some of the statistics listed in the previous answer are detailed in these files.

So how does it feel knowing now the health insurance will be treated a lot like car insurance?

Considering it's going to be another financial burden on the middle class, one that we can't afford..........................How can one afford to pay a fine for not having health insurance when, they couldn't afford the insurance in the first place?
--------------------
Does it make you feel better knowing you are going to 'give' the drug companies record profits? Note - No mention of Drug Company profits in the Lies told about Insurance Cos. that have a 6% profit. Drug Company profits run 25-40% - + they have committed up to 150 million $$ to Obama to 'push' his government health insurance plan. This was done to 'protect' 70-80 Billion $$$ profits. They don't care about the public - only big campaign contributions. Washington DC = TOTAL CORRUPTION!

What is the best priced uncomplicated health insurance in Tokyo, Japan?

1. I am a mid 20s foreigner living in Tokyo. 2. I know the Japanese company I am working for pays the national health insurance scheme but I also know that it wont cover 100% of my hospital bills. 3. Out-patient benefits are not really necessary but welcome if its included. All I want is my in-patient bills will be 100% covered. 4. What insurance company can you recommend that wont hurt my wallet too much? thanks
--------------------
I have never heard of that kind of private health insurance in Japan. Private health insurance in Japan would provide benefit like 5-10K yen for each day if you are hospitalized (stayed in a hospital) or had a surgery. But there is nothing like the insurance which covers 100% of your bills every time you go to a doctor. National health insurance covers 70%, right? This is all.

Men are discriminated against by car insurance and women by health insurance?

Is this fair should it not be prejudiced? Why can't it go on your character and if you are a risk then increase you policy accordingly if you are irresponsible. What are feminists/MRAs doing to target gender prejudices with insurance companies? PS - I don't see any "men-only" health insurance do you?
--------------------
Men from when they start driving till 25, have way more accidents then any other group...costing insurance companies more money. So that group pays more money. Women are more likely to Use there health insurance regularly, plus women have a long list of things that can go wrong(or right pregnancy) that men dont have....So women cost insurance companies more so we pay more. It's simple capitalism..insurance companies are out to make a profit. Unless we completely take out the capitalism and give the government control over these companies...it will never be exactly the same. So no feminist/mra's arnt targeting insurance companies. (at least not to my knowledge) Insurance companies also "discriminate" against singles, poor credit, elderly, childless, and certain careers.

Should dental and vision be part of regular health insurance?

Why carve those two areas out of health insurance? Your teeth are in your mouth, aren't they? Your eyes are in your head, aren't they? What am I missing here?
--------------------
the cost of dental care is really high, so high that many people just don't get any since many employers don't even offer dental insurance, I just had to pay 400.00 for a crown and my insurance paid about 350.00 to total 750.00 for ONE crown, that is a problem for most people and people's teeth and mouth are in a terrible shape if they don't get regular dental care. I am a caregiver in an ICU and have taken care of many patients who developed serious complications from tooth infections that can affect the heart and also make you wind up on a ventilator with a tracheostomy if it got bad enough and that's a result of the lack of dental care, Im sure these people would have sought care if they had insurance or could have afforded the cost themselves.
