The answer to that specific question is THE DEMOCRATS WILL RAISE TAXES ON THE REST OF US TO PAY FOR THE HEALTH INSURANCE of those who can not afford it. What will bankrupt the insurance companies is eliminating the pre-existing condition exclusion. Look up "adverse selection." THAT is what will kill the insurance companies. Insurance companies will simply stop selling health insurance, and you won't be able to buy it anyplace.
