Is the health insurance that I recieve from my employer a tax deduction?

Can I deduct the cost of my health insurance that I pay for and receive through my employer.
--------------------
Usually the medical insurance through your employer is paid with pre tax dollars, meaning that they are tax free. In this case you can not deduct them. If they are paid with after tax dollars you can. If yo look on your pay stub the pretax items are usually have a star by them.
