I have no health insurance and cannot take my son to a dr and do not have money to pay a huge ER bill. He has a nasty ear infection. What can I do to treat it so no damage is caused? He is 18 months old.

You can't cure an infection at home. Can you get state health insurance for your son? He's going to need a prescription to get rid of it. But until you get in give him Tylenol and try some OTC drops or warm oil. Warm compresses are nice too...try throwing his blanket in the dryer and laying him down with that ear on the blanket.
