Why should an employer be obligated to provide health insurance to employees? This hurts business.?

wouldn't we be better off buying it on our own like auto insurance? i've never expected my job to provide me auto insurance.

Yeah, word! I hope it isn't too late and we can get a real healthcare revolution where we Americans prove that the free markets CAN prevail. If they would only allow health insurance to be treated like auto insurance we could fix this mess but no way do the professional power mongers and people who have been touting how great it is in socialist systems want to allow that to happen. I think that if there were insurance companies that gave Americans actual incentives to stay healthy... now that would be great for America. If there were companies that say gave massive discounts to people for losing weight, working out, having stamina and training... you're darn right that would motivate people to take care of themselves. I know that if I was getting paid, basically, to be healthy... I would probably be working out right now instead of laying in bed typing online. Hahahahaha... seriously. Right now the only way to get a return from your insurance is to get sick or hurt. Insurance companies should be allowed to give people a return for losing weight or working out but they can't do that now. At least not where I live.
