Any form of insurance is best to go accordance to your budget and needs. I think most country now is mandatory to purchase motor insurance for your vehicles (if not, you may not be able to renew either your road tax or registration).Premiums are lower if your car is non-metallic colour, low CC, and park in lock-up garage. It is advisable to get building and contents insurance (against fire, flood, damage and theft) because rebuilding or renovate your home will cost a bomb, in the event of damage. Personal accidental insurance is most advisable because it is very affordable (no smoker rates, no age rates) and especially if you ride on a motorcycle, you have higher risk of accidental injuries/death. As for life and health/medical insurance, this is where the biggest premiums are, and you have to consult an adviser to assist you. Depending on your priorities and your affordability, get something reasonable. Upgrades or top-ups are allow when you have better income :) Hope this help!
