If the US federal government can make you purchase a product then what is the limit to their power? What else can they make you do? If everyone drove hybrids then people wouldnt be voluntarily polluting and costing people money in health problems and if this is found constitutional what will republicans do with it when they return to power as they always have, what will they force liberals to do that they do not wish to do? The federal Gun ownership reform act A mandate to purchase and use a fire arm?

The restrictions that are placed on the government are what the people decide need to be in place. And if you really think that is not the case, go to live in Burma for a while, then tell me that the US government has no restrictions.
