I do have health insurance now but before I didn't and I would get everything free and my parents never knew about it. So now that I have it what will change? Do I have to tell them? Will they find out if I do or not?

It's so much easier to explain to them that you don't want your parents finding out, and therefore can not use your health insurance. They will totally understand. I told them that, and they fixed my copays.
