Why to Health Insurance companies put profit over people?

Is it because like Conservatives, they care nothing for people?

It's because they're companies and they are obligated to maximize profits. I would not agree that conservatives do not care for people, and I don't believe that health insurance companies do not care for people either, they just have their priorities set for them a little bit as a company that legally needs to maximize profits for shareholders.
