Health Insurance for getting pregnant?

I'm thinking of getting pregnant, can anyone tell me what is a good insurance that would cover most of the bills I would have with dr. visits, delivery, etc. I can't afford to pay a lot.

The answerers who have said WAIT are correct. You will need to make sure you request maternity coverage when you obtain insurance quotes. Maternity is not covered under a standard plan. Then, wait. All insurance companies have a probationary period. For standard insurance, this is 3 months. During the probationary period, you do not want to do ANYTHING that will make the insurance company think you intentionally took out insurance to cover something you had in mind to do. If you do, you will be dropped, or your rates will absolutely sky-rocket. Unfortunately, with individual insurance, your rates will rise dramatically after your pregnant, as your insurance company has to start dishing OUT more money than you're putting IN....that's how they work... If you include maternity coverage, yes, you will need to wait at least 9 months before becoming pregnant. Sorry. A re-pricing plan is not a good strategy. That will get you 1/3 off your hospital bill. When the average hospital maternity bill is $15,000 or more, having to shell out $10,000 is not a great plan. And that doesn't include doctor's visits... Please check into OB/GYN clinics provided by medical schools. They are typically lower in price than doctors in private practices.
