Americans, how much do you pay for health care insurance?

What happen if you were sick and did not have health care insurance?

I don't have health insurance, I have to go to the doctors every 4 weeks and I pay cash and pay cash for my prescriptions. Are you in Canada? We don't get as much in taxes taken out because of the health insurance, so it pretty much all equals out.
