I am asking this question because there seems to be more and more people who are choosing not to pay for health coverage(Canada excluded here). Are you one of those people I am mentioning here? If so, what is your reason? You know you are going to need to use it at some point for you or your loved ones!

I have no health insurance, and I am a nurse!! The simple fact of the matter is, I cannot afford it. To get insurance on myself alone, due to pre-existing conditions, would cost 800 dollars a month, I don't make enough money to be able to afford that kind of monthly payment and eat. I prefer to eat, thank you.
