I am writing an essay for a schloarship on the importance of health insurance, however I am not exactly sure how it work, pros and cons, etc. Thanks for helping :)

Not having any form of insurance means if you get sick you have to pay the bills all by yourself. Nowadays, with health costs the way they are, a person cannot afford to go without insurance. All it takes is one single severe injury or disease to wipe out an entire lifetime of savings.
