Also assuming since they can't afford health insurance, they can't afford to pay like a thousand dollars for a one time visit. what can they do? Im talking drugs for health reasons not like controlled sketchy drugs, just drugs that only someone who needs would want to take.

There are urgent care/walk in clinics that are pretty reasonable & some charge based upon ability to pay. No visit is one thousand dollars tho. AT my clinic they range from $39 to about $350 (depends on what we do). Depends on what the prescription is, whether it can be refilled easily or not.
