My father passed away last week very unexpectedly and he maintained health insurance on me. I am 11 weeks pregnant and my health insurance was terminated yesterday. I live in GA, is there anything I can do to get insurance even though I am pregnant already? It is not like I cancelled it for not paying. Please help. I am so afraid of having to pay so much money to have this baby!

Go to the DHS or the WIC place and apply for Medicade. It will take care of everything. I used it when I lived in Georgia and was very pleased with my healthcare.
