If a federal prisoner has a serious health issue, they can be shipped off to the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota, where the Mayo Clinic has beds set aside for them.

Look around at socialized medicine. Higher rates of disease and death. People who don't get what they need even if they can pay for it. Yes it's easier, just treat people like live stock so Obama and his new Oligarchy can rein supreme and be the super rich ruling class, but it's stupid for all others, just as the Bolshevik revolution screwed the little people most and put the rich friends of the leaders in role of royalty, so will Obama's plan to ruin our economy and install the "Progressive Economy" the communist originators of this movement advocated. If you keep watching TV, buying it all, thinking the people they support are your friends ... you are in for one RUDE AWAKENING.
