Though there may be some jobs that are going to require you to have insurance coverage, that's not usually how it works. Most people actually get their health insurance coverage through their employers. If your employer doesn't offer health insurance benefits, then you can apply for and purchase a health insurance plan on your own. The best way to do that is to work through a licensed agent who knows the options available in your area. It doesn't cost anything extra to work through an agent, and you can find some online, too. I work for a company called eHealthInsurance.com and at our site you can get quotes from a broad selection of health insurance plans in your state. You can compare plans side by side to find the right match and apply for coverage online. If you want to talk with one of our licensed agents, give us a call at 1-800-977-8860. Good luck!
