Young Americans should negotiate more pay, rather than health insurance?

Go for the pay, people. Why be a slave for the Insurance Companies!??!? Walk into your bosses office tomorrow, and ask for a $1.50 per hour raise, and give up your health insurance!

If only it were that simple, but as long as health insurance are involved in making medical decisions, the U.S. will never have a fair system. Most Americans, who declare bankruptcy, do so due to excessive medical costs. Those who have coverage are faced with sky-rocketing premiums and exorbitant drug prices. People with medical insurance will continue to pay higher premiums because of the 50 million uninsured, who do not typically seek care until they're forced to an emergency room and/or prolonged hospital stay. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/health-…
