I broke my finger and I'm going to the emergency room tomorrow. I'm a college student and I live alone and currently have no health insurance. Will I have to pay anything or will I billed ? And if the injury requires surgery, will they bill me for that too ? If there is anything I should know please tell me.

Try calling the student health service at your college. They should be able to give you good advice about where to go and how much it should be. Insurance through school is pretty cheap. You definitely want to get it next term.
