How do you go about ensuring health insurance coverage when you are immigrating to the us and you have a pre existing genetic medical condition that will need monitoring and treatment periodically?

A legal immigrant, I hope.....right?? Get a job with health insurance. As long as you can say you have been treated for this here before, you should be fine to get the insurance. If no job yet, then contact your county's department of social services. They will get you seen.
