I am wondering where do I find health insurance in Buffalo,NY for our son? He was born in Canada, daddy is American is a NY state resident and we are visitors here but in need of short term health insurance, any suggestions of where to turn, OTHER than calling all the agencies in the phone book.

You can get a traveler's insurance but it's expensive. Usually you only get a policy if you will be in a foreign country for a minimum of 6 months. I don't recommend them. If your son's father has insurance, he can add him to his policy for the short period of time.
