job offering a 401k or something? i have no idea but i know that they offer insurance to all of its employees for about 113 bucks a month. i want to see the dermatologist, i was wondering if the 401k job insurance would cover this or any i better off just going and paying a fee to the dermatologist without coverage.

A 401(k) has nothing to do w/ health insurance. It is a retirement account. You should talk to the HR person, each companies insurance is different. But generally it will cover the visit, but you may have a co-pay. And you may need a referral from you primary care physician.
