I know I have 63 days after I recieve the letter asking me if I want to go on COBRA health insurance coverage to tell them officially whether I want to get COBRA. If I buy my own individual private insurance before that 63 day period ends, can I still get COBRA within the 63 days if I change my mind and want to use COBRA instead of the private insurance I already bought? Thanks.
