How many hours do you have to work in California to be eligible for health insurance?

I work 35 hours a week, and have no health insurance. Am I eligible? Should I question this?

Health insurance is not mandatory in CA; it's an optional benefit. You can check with your HR department to see what is offered, but there is no obligation to provide healthcare benefits in California. (union contracts aside.)
