There are corporate hospitals which are recognized by the state government to treat their employees, through an official agreement between the state government and the hospital. The concerned state government department usually issues a 'credit letter' to the employee, which when submitted at those recognized hospitals entitles the employee to free treatment. Also, the employee can pay upfront in the hospital and go for reimbursement with the state government later. However the amount reimbursed may be lesser than what is being charged by the hospital.
