I'm looking for health insurance for a 63 yr old female?

Looking for health insurance for a 63 yr old female, who is unemployed and currently disabled? Anyone know of any good plans that don't cost a fortune.

Welfare - Medicaid. Or Medicare, if she's on SSDI. Most states, she's flat out uninsurable, because she's unhealthy enough to be disabled. Plus, even if she was perfectly healthy, and not overweight, at her age it's reasonable to expect to pay $600 to $800 a month for health insurance. She's going to need to talk to a local broker, to see what her options are. Besides welfare health insurance (medicaid or medicare), she can check to see if there's a high risk health pool in your state, or what the other options might be. Health insurance options are HIGHLY state specific. You're not going to find anything online.
