Hi could you please guide me for the best health insurance (mediclaim) for my parents aged 58 and 48 in India. Please suugest the service provider with pros and cons.

As a health insurance broker, I recommend calling an independent agency in your parents local area. For your parent aged 58, AARP can guide you to some reputable suggestions. Don't buy anything online and always have a real person that is local to help you out. At age 65, of course, there are medicare supplements available (unless your parents on disability then they have are eligible for Medicare now). Any plan that is purchased on an individual basis is quite $$$$ perhaps a plan that only pays for major medical (hospitalization) would be the answer. This way, your parents can pay out of pocket for doctors visits etc but not have to worry in the event of something major. Ask your local insurance broker about a plan thru "Golden Rule". They are a great company for individual major medical. good luck!
