Right now dependent college age children have to maintain 12 college credits to keep health insurance. Obama supposedly is changing that. Does anyone know when that will take effect?

Wont matter since that is private health insurance from a preferred plan; it's their rules you play by. Once you're 18, you will be legally obligated to get your own health insurance.
