I need to know if health insurance starts for my wife as soon as I start bootcamp, as soon as bootcamp ends or tech school begins or what? Also what kind of benefits are included in the Air Force health insurance. Please help if you know anything.

as soon as she is entered into DEERS she is covered under Tricare Standard,. she cannot enroll into Prime until she has her ID( you will send her a packet in the mail within the first month of being there giving her everything she needs to do this).
