Cons do you consider getting denied health insurance for a pre-existing condition to be a basic human right?

Or how about getting denied health care because your insurance company refused to cover it?

No, it's a failure of the system. I actually know a 50 year old woman who got denied insurance for a deviated septum (she broke her nose as a child), but who was otherwise in excellent health for her age group.
