getting health insurance over the age of 25?

How does the law work and what is it called for somebody who is over the age of 25 but still gets their health insurance paid through their parents until their parents die or stop working? Who exactly qualifies?
--------------------
Most employer's group health policies will NOT cover a child over 25, unless they are incapacitated - read, incompetant, and not capable of living on their own (example - mentally retarded adult children). If you are a disabled child, though, and have been disabled since before you were 18, you might be eligible for SSDI and medicare under your parents' social security credits.
