I recently got health insurance. Do I pay the copay for a doctors visit if I haven't met the deductible?

Or will I be billed for the entire cost of the doctors visit since the deductible hasn't been met?
--------------------
It depends entirely on how your particular policy is set up. Generally, but not always, if you have a plan that has a doctor visit for a co-pay you do not have to meet the deductible first and you will not be billed any extra. However, you could be billed extra for services such as lab work, which may or may not be included in the co-pay (depending upon the plan). Ask your agent or your group representative for clarification on your policy because every plan is different.
