If a Canadian marries an American who has good health insurance through his job, would the new wife who just?

moved to the US be put under the same health plan? would she have to wait since she is a new resident? are pre-existing conditions covered under a health plan from a new husband's job? thanks sue

As long as you are legally married he can add you to his insurance once you are in the states. Will the insurance cover a pre-existing condition? That is a hard one, most insurance will not cover a new person on a policy who has a pre-existing condition. That is one of the major issues with our health care system. Belle
