How much health insurance could US citizens buy for themselves if they weren't taxed so much?

We pay property tax, income tax, sales tax, state tax, business tax, capital gains tax, tax on investments, tax on interest...I know I've missed some.

Exactly and paying more taxes for your neighbor is socialistic. Programs for the masses do not work. There are affordable health care plans and many choices for us to make on our own. We do not need the government making our decisions for us. We don't need socilaism. Wealth grows through capitalism, the standard of living improves. If history tells us anything, even in the early years of the revolution, workers were becoming better off. Prices were falling, incomes rising, health and sanitation improving, diets became more varied, and working conditions were constantly improving The new wealth generated by capitalism dramatically lengthened lifespans and decreased child mortality rates. The new jobs created in industry paid more than most people could make in agriculture. Housing conditions improved. The new heroes of society came from the middle class as business owners and industrialists displaced the nobility and gentry in cultural hierarchy.
