What's the difference between Health CARE and Health Insurance?

Does Health Care provide for the basic check-ups and etc (Dentist, doctor, flu shots, etc) While Health insurance covers more long term illnesses (Cancer, disease, swine flu, etc)
--------------------
It's a matter of semantics. If you want to be a real stickler about it, health care is the actual care of the patient. That is, a doctor gives you a physical, a dentist takes care of cleaning your teeth, a nurse will look after you in the hospital, etc. It has nothing to do with insurance. Health insurance is a paid system of paying for the health care that you receive. Some people use the two terms interchangeably but they're really not the same. Health insurance is health insurance; there is no delineation as to what services it covers as you have asked in your question.
