The company I work for pays 80% of my family health insurance. We just received notification that our payroll company has not taken the correct deduction from our paychecks for over one year. Because of this error, they will be taking an additional $30 deduction out every pay period for one year to make up the difference. Is this legal?

I'm pretty sure it is legal. Very crappy thing for the company to do ... they should just write it off. I would start double checking my check to make sure TAX AMOUNTS are correct ... go to www.paycheckcity.com and verify ... :-)
