What are some reasons a person can be denied health insurance?

common reasons for being denied when applying for a health insurance policy?
--------------------
Probably the most common is being out of the height & weight guidelines. Another common one is being bi-polar or ADD, or if you are taking several medications. You can also be declined if you have an undiagnosed condition. There are too many others to mention. Each company has a different list of automatic declines. One company may accept some cancers if you've been treatment free for one year while another company will not accept you for any cancer for 10 years. Most companies will not accept any diabetic but some will if the diabetes is controlled by diet. Some companies will decline if you have high blood pressure and also smoke. Some companies will accept you with the smoking and high blood pressure but not accept you if you also have high cholesterol.
