Health Insurance?

With heath Insurance prices continually rising, less and less people can afford it. If it gets any higher here, what can happen? Fuel is killing us to. What kind of a catastrophy can we expect? How should we prepare for it? young and old alike.

I'm not sure if this is a question or a statement. Health insurance is essential for every person on Earth. BUT it is a rising factor that has the pooped scared out of most responsible human beings in this nation. My suggestion is for one to provide their own health insurance if they can truly afford to do so. People that cheat the system to get on Medicaid, Medicare, and other forms of Financial Assistance are HURTING the ones that actually have to pay premiums every month. HOW? Because nationally, state and locally funded programs of health coverage are paid at a discount. Yes! Hospitals, medical groups, and other entities offer the same medical care for less to indigients. Also, people that choose not to have a primary care provider, or PCP, is often a factor to rising health care costs. You know who I'm talking about. The person that disregard things like a sinus infection, until they can't stand it anymore. Generally they end up in the ER feeling like their face will explode from all the pressure and pain. OR there are people that have avoid annual check-ups, and years down the road develop a progressively intense illness that could have been caught in the early stages if they would have just gone to see their PCP. Now we have gone from a routine care situation, or possibly even a semi-urgent situation... to a full blown emergency!!! Now, a major factor is ... people that choose to use medical services like ERs, MRIs and what have you... and don't pay! Regardless if they have insurance or not. Their cost has to be absorbed somewhere. I don't like it either, but this is the truth. If you can afford a medical savings plan OR a good POS (Point of Service) plan w/a deductible... I say go get some today! Not tomorrow, but right now! Don't wait for an emergency to arises and think 'oh poop, I have no insurance! What ever will I do?'. Just go get some. Establish with a PCP, get your annual check-ups, BE HONEST W/YOUR PCP, and keep your appts! By the way, I like the idea of universal health care... but with our government??? LMAO! It'll be like the IRS with holding your chart!!!
