Should I have my health insurance taken out before my taxes?

Will it hurt you at the end of the year if you have your health insurance withheld before your taxes?

If you have the option, it makes sense to have it taken out before tax - that way you won't pay income tax on the amount of your income that pays those premiums. Not all employers have plans set up to allow that though.
