Is there a type of independant health insurance that is cheap, or semi cheap? And that is not a fraud?

As long as you are fairly healthy then it will be pretty easy to find an affordable independent health insurance plan. They key is to choose a well known and trusted company. Think Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Humana, UniCare, etc. Watch out for discount plans and very limited benefit plans from companies like Mega Life and United American.
