What is health insurance? how do you do pregnancy if u dont have it?

i dont know what health insurance is. i probably dont have it unless im covered by some weird thing with my family which is slim chance.. So what kind of things do i have to do to make sure my babyes ok when i get pregnant if i dont have health insurance
