does anyone know how long health insurance is active for after being laid off?

I was just laid off...and my insurance premium was still deducted from my last pay check..does that mean I have an additional 30 days of coverage?

Usually the last day of the month during which you were laid off. (Which is typically how far you are paid up). By law, they will offer you coverage through COBRA.
