what happens to kids health insurance benefits if I am injured at work and go on workers compensation benefit?

I just went on workers compensation and I have health insurance through my employer what happens to this if I can't pay it

If you don't pay for your health insurance - and your kids - both your coverages will be cancelled. As soon as your employer terminates you, your health insurance cancels, unless you pay for it yourself, through cobra. Even though you're on Workers Comp, that only covers the work related injury. It does NOT keep paying for your benefits.
