Is it true that the IRS will fine someone over 26 of age for not having health insurance?

Im going to be 27 and if i dont have health insurance ill be fined? thats all :) thanks!

The IRS only wants you to pay your taxes. You got some things confused: The new law will allow your parents to cover you under their insurance until you are 26 years old if you don't have health insurance. Whether or not you will be forced to have it is still up to debate.
